Awesome website and resources. Thanks for posting these tips. It is so easy to fall into the trap of trying to teach too much too soon.

What a great idea! These are very cute, and I know kids will love them. While I do like the colorful graphics, it would be helpful to have an ink friendly version, too. No complaint! Just a suggestion. Thank you for sharing this!

Very cool! I love this idea and will have lots of fun using these with my students. You can find directions for folding fortune tellers on youtube. I don't know if it's just my printer or if there is another issue, but the first and third fortune tellers printed as mostly pink and red. The middle one did just fine. I changed ink cartridges, but the pink/red issue remained. Nonetheless, it's a super idea. Thanks!

These are FANTASTIC. What a great idea. I can make the blank one harder for my more advanced students. Thank you very much for sharing!

These were a hit with my group classes. The only thing for me was trying to remember how to fold these... (my problem... :)But the kids liked the activity and thought it was cool. One thought that someone mentioned was maybe offer one option that allows teachers to print them with less ink. Any coming for Christmas? I know my other students would love these too! :)

I'm glad it was a hit with your classes! Have you checked out the Holiday-themed games? There is a fortune teller with the pack. Here's a link to "how to fold" if you are interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RORa5TmKtP4

soooo cute. Maybe there could be some that require more knowledge so the more experienced youngsters could have something a little more challenging? But these are GREAT!

Thanks! Hope your students enjoy it. Please send me an email on topics you are interested in for the more experienced young students. I would love to hear from you!

I just bought these last night and am excited to start using them with my students today. Last night I was using them as a reward for my own kids: after each homework question they finished they got to play one "game" with me. It was a big hit! I especially like the simplest one, with questions on note-direction and higher vs. lower. Very helpful.

So glad to hear it's a big hit with your kids! I hope your students like them as much as your kids did. :)

What is included in this download? The pictures are all Christmas fortune tellers, the description says Halloween fortune tellers, and the title says Holiday Themed. So is this all the holidays--Christmas, Halloween, and Thanksgiving?

These are for with Christmas themed. You can see the design on the thumbnails.
